Gainesville to North Helen, GA - Gainesville & Northwestern Railway

This line went from a connection with the Gainesville Midland in Gainesville to New Holland, Clark, Autry, Dewberry, Brookton, Clermont, County Line, Campground, Meldean, Cleveland, Asbestos, Mt. Yonah, Yonah, Nacoochee, Helen and into North Helen.  It was built in the 1912 - 1914 time period and was abandoned in 1932 - 1933.  Here are two links to great pages by Doug Van Veelen:
